Daisy Lowe’s mother Pearl Lowe has “always” been her fashion inspiration.

The 27-year-old model – who is the daughter of Pearl Lowe and Gavin Rossdale – has admitted her mother’s fashion sense was an “amazing influence” on her and her own style when she was growing up, which has simply “evolved “more into a “magical place” since her fashion designer mother launched her new eponymous fancy dress range.

Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, about her mother and her latest fashion venture into fancy dress costumes, the brunette beauty said: “It is so beautiful I think growing up with her, she’s always been an amazing influence.  And her style has evolved into such a magical place with this collection.

“She made me the most amazing butterfly costume for Glastonbury and everyone should buy it.  It’s being sold in Harrods and Selfridges but buying it online might be easier.”

However, Daisy – who is currently competing in this year’s ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ – has also credited Katharine Hepburn as her “ultimate” style icon, which has led her to draw inspiration from “old Hollywood films”.

Speaking previously about her style muse, Daisy said: “I love taking inspiration from old Hollywood films.  My favorites are ‘Cat On A hot Tin Roof’ and ‘The Girl Can’t Help It’. My ultimate movie idol is Katharine Hepburn; I love her and any movie she’s in.  She’s effortlessly timeless and a real inspiration.”

Meanwhile, Daisy – who began her modelling career at the age of 15 after being signed to Select Model Management in 2004 – has admitted she was born to have a curvaceous body.

Speaking previously about her body shape, she said: “When I was 19 and I split up from my first boyfriend [Will Cameron], I was so devastated I lost two stone. I was eight and a half stone, I went from a D-cup to an A-cup and my legs were sticks. I worked non-stop that year, but I didn’t like it. I didn’t feel like myself. I’m meant to have curves.

“I’m told by designers I have a sexy body and I accept that, but I never feel sexy.  I’m far too clumsy to be properly sexy, I’m always falling over.”
